Cyber Security Expert 2024 brought together security pros, IT leaders, and decision-makers to tackle emerging enterprise security challenges, share fresh insights, and build stronger connections across the tech industry. In addition to the main event, the experience featured Enlace Social—an initiative that extended our impact beyond the venue through a unique project connecting technology, culture, and local communities.
The challenge
To design an engaging experience for a tech and cybersecurity audience that went beyond technical content to build meaningful connections among attendees.
The challenge was also to naturally weave in a social component, ensuring the event giveaway had a clear purpose and its own narrative.
Our approach
Under the concept “Protection with Roots,” the experience featured a traditional Colombian hat crafted by local artisans as a gift for attendees.
This gesture turned a symbol of cultural identity into a natural extension of the event's message: just as roots sustain and represent our culture, security must be at the foundation of every organization—firm, present, and prepared. At the same time, the initiative connected the experience with supporting local artisan communities.
The result
"Rooted Protection" merged the cybersecurity message with Colombian identity and social impact in a single initiative.
The result was an experience designed to spark new strategic conversations, strengthen industry connections, and extend the event's impact to the local communities involved in crafting the keepsake.
